A very useful workshop was held on 18th of November – for Academies and for SME’s - as part of our Innovation Day at Óbuda University. The participants analyzed together the different elements of the Universitys’ ecosystem – high quality and constructive contributions were formulated.
Two action plans were highlighted that will be developed in detail in the near future and could serve to improve the innovation ecosystem:
1.) a student survey, which will assess not only the innovation potential of students but also their knowledge, needs and attitudes towards university innovation services
2.) innovation road-shows: outreach presentations for BSc, MSc and PhD students on university campuses, outlining the opportunities for connection/advancement at each student level. More detailed outreach events at EKIK
(University Research and Innovation Center) for those interested, the detailed schedule will be developed.
Further ideas have been raised on the early integration of innovation knowledge into the learning material of the faculty of economics, on the development of links between industrial parks and research institutes, which will be further refined.
