On 31 May and 1 June 2023, the EIT's HEI Initiative 2023 Innovation Vision Action Plan (IVAP) Workshop took place in Prague, Czechia. This event brought together project members from Cohorts 1, 2, and 3, as well as members of the Initiative's Project Management Team from eight Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs) and key stakeholders from the EIT and the DGEAC. The workshop aimed to orient and welcome the new cohort of the Initiative, while also facilitating collaboration and strengthening the Innovation Vision Action Plans of all cohorts and projects involved.
Among the participants were EcoAction partners SeAMK (Dr Anmari Viljamaa and Vice President Dr. Elina Varamäki) and FHV (Dr. Florian Maurer). As representatives of the EcoAction project they were actively engaged in the workshop's activities and discussions. The workshop provided an opportunity for the EcoAction project and the workshop participants to explore collective action ideas and address key challenges associated with the EIT HEI.
The agenda of the IVAP workshop provided detailed information on the various sessions and topics covered. The participants gained a strong appreciation for the inputs and desired outcomes of the Initiative's projects. The workshop successfully fostered community among the selected Cohort 3 Projects and facilitated collaboration with previous cohorts. The workshop participants were encouraged to maintain a broad perspective, not only focusing on their individual projects (such as EcoAction) but also engaging in collective reflection to extract valuable lessons for the IVAP Implementation phase.
