At Óbuda University in Budapest, Hungary, during the spring of 2023, the third innovation competition, Proof of Concept, took place. The topic of the competition is to develop innovation ecosystem concepts. The applicants had to come up with new ideas from the first scratch till the market access. For this competition, only those could apply where at least one of the members had legal relations with Óbuda University. Each winning project could win a maximum of 000 EUR. We received 26 applications, and nine teams were selected for the next round. The chosen teams had four weeks to finalize their ideas with the help of business mentors. Finally, five teams were awarded for their efforts; two won 26 000 EUR, and three won 1300 EUR.
