FilaMass is looking for university partners across Europe to familiarize students with 3D printing benefits

By EcoAction at December 14th, 2022

The problem

3D printers work with a lot of possibility for errors, and the diagnostic system is not available yet, the integrated ERP system doesn't exist.

The solution

Diagnostic peripheral device and ERP integrated system development.

What’s new?

The new innovation in our product is that it is not only an external peripheral device for 3D FDM printers, but also an ERP system as well.

Business model

The peripheral device can be bought, and the software is based on a freemium model with 3 levels of subscription.

The core team

László Szűcs

CTO

Mechatronics engineering (BSc); Computer engineer (MSc); PHD student

Zsolt Dobóczi

CEO

Mechanical Engineering (BSc) ; Business Developer (MSc)

Brief history

The idea was born in 2019, when we have been dealing with 3D printing for approximately 7-8 years. At this time the idea was just about the diagnostics, we developed this peripheral device, and then in 2021 we applied for the Obuda University competition with our idea, where we won. During this competition the idea was already under development. After this competition we established the FilaMass Zrt. with OU.

Your next goal

MVP 2.0 development ready, customer testing, go to market

Reason for sharing on EcoAction

We are seeking for partnerships for opening to the EU market and looking for possible collaborators. We need to develop and know the EU market properties.

Core value proposition

Our product and service ideas are unique all over the world. Nowadays 3D printing is popular in B2C and B2B sectors as well, but the diagnostic and ERP system for additive technologies is insufficient

Key customer

B2C - hobby makers / B2B - companies who use 3D printing technologies
